Slash Trace documentation

Watch the career pages you care about, including JavaScript-gated and bot-blocked ones. Works with Claude, ChatGPT, or any personal agent. Alerts in minutes.

What it does

You give Slash Trace a list of companies. It finds each one’s careers page, reads it on a schedule — including the JavaScript-gated and bot-blocked ones that ordinary scrapers return an empty page for — and tells you what has appeared since the last time it looked.

A board is one company’s careers page. A role is one posting on it. Everything in the product, the connector and the API is one of those two things, or a list of them.

Three ways to reach it

The same account and the same boards, whichever you use. Nothing has to be set up twice.

  • The app. Add boards, read the feed, set up alerts by email or webhook. This is where boards are added fastest and where billing lives.
  • An MCP client. Ask an agent in a normal conversation — “which of my clients are hiring in Berlin?” Claude is documented in full; any MCP-capable client connects the same way.
  • The HTTP API. For putting roles into something we don’t integrate with yet — your own dashboard, an ATS, a Slack bot you already run.

The API and MCP are available on the Pro and Ultra plans only. See plans.

Where to next

Don’t have an account?

The Free plan tracks a handful of boards with no card required, which is enough to see whether it reads the pages you care about. Create an account and the quickstart takes about two minutes.
